38 Weeks... Almost done.

Yep, I'm on bed rest. I'm so bored. I'm very thankful that I didn't close my Netflix account when they went up on their prices because it has become very handy during these last few days. Vampire Diaries has been playing for the past 48 hours. I don't even really pay attention to it, but it's nice to occasionally look up and get an eye full of Ian Somerhalder. My mom is pretty much a nazi when it comes to my bed rest. Every time I get up.. "Maggie! What are you doing? Where are you going!?"...... TO THE BATHROOM! I love her for it, though! This last month has been trying for me. I'm sure it's like that for every pregnant woman. I'm so huge. I don't even fit into my maternity clothes anymore. It's horrific. So, I have decided to share my list of things I'm excited about doing after I deliver this human being. Obviously, the number one thing I can't wait for is to love on my baby girl. This is my personal list. Not really baby related. I am still allowed to do and think about non-baby related stuff, right? Ok, here goes.

  • Sleep. YES, I KNOW.. I won't be sleeping a whole lot right now. I get it. It's not even about the sleep.. I guess I'm more excited about just laying down and having the option to roll over if I want.
  • Wearing shoes again. I have worn one pair of shoes throughout my entire pregnancy due to swelling. They were the ONLY ones that fit my ever growing feet.
  • Working out. I know it will be a few weeks before I'm able to start working out again, but I CAN'T WAIT to getting busy getting my body back.
  • Taking baths. AHHH.. I love taking baths now; however, it's not easy. Its quite hilarious watching myself get in and out of the bathtub. Its a difficult task.
  • My hair. I have heard that after the baby is born some of my hair may fall out. Please do, hair. I have an over abundance of you right now, and I would love to get rid of SOME of you. Thanks.
  • I'm ready to feel normal again. I know it's going to take a minute, but there must be some relief right after because of the lack of human being inside your body. Here's to hoping.
  • Regular potty schedule. No need to explain that one.
  • Last but not least... I want to feel pretty again. It's true. Little girls steal their mothers beauty. I just look and feel blah, and it's time to start looking and feeling fabulous again!

Now, of course, I absolutely will miss having Tatum inside my tummy. I didn't think I would, but it's going to the strange not having her literally by my side 24 hours a day. The hiccups are kind of annoying, so I won't miss that so much, but feeling her move is the coolest feeling ever. I can't wait for her to be here. Only 2 more days! I can't believe it. Please, everyone, say a little prayer for Tatum and I. I guess my next blog will be after my precious angel has arrived. WOW.

Over The Weekend

Hello! I hope everyone has had an amazing weekend. I have! Of course, I'm still super pregnant and uncomfortable, but other than that.. Fabulous! Today the wonderful people I work with took me to lunch at MiMi's Cafe for my baby shower! It was so thoughtful of them to do that for me. We had lots of fun, and I got some really cute stuff for Tatum. 3 week's and 6 day's until my due date. WOW. I'm getting so close.

So, I recently signed up for the website called Pinterest. I'm majorly obsessed.                   It's so fun and really motivating. Last year I was looking for some wall art for a salon I was working at. I found this really cute painting from World Market. This one...

I loved it so much, but it cost's over 100 dollars! I just wasn't going to pay that much. So, Yesterday I was on Pinterest, and I found a Do It Yourself for the EXACT painting. SCORE! I went to Michaels today and picked up the paint and a blank canvas! So exciting. I feel like an artist. :)

Here is my art as from beginning to end.

Blank.

I chose these colors because they match our living room colors.

My Stems

My finished artwork! It doesn't look exactly like it does in the original, but I'm very please with it. I can't wait to do more crafts! Look at me! I'm crafty! Who knew?

Anyways, I just wanted to share my amazing weekend with everyone. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow morning. Hopefully he will tell me something good. I'm dying to know when he thinks Tatum will be here! I'll keep everyone updated!
